Making Rootbeer in Your Own Kitchen
That’s enough history for now. Come down to the fleshy part of this article, and see how we can make our own delicious root beer.
1) First, get yourself some root beer extract. The quality of the extract you buy is really going to have a strong influence on the taste of your finished product, so I suggest you stay away from the extracts found in supermarkets. Instead, I recommend you invest in an extract high in quality as those offered http://www.hoptech.com. Do not feel you need to continue with the root beer. There are a myriad of different flavors to suit almost all major types of soft drinks (eg cola, orange, ginger ale, grape etc)
2) For the two step I will have to look at the bottle of extract that you bought. Will comply with the instructions of that mark, and for the amounts of water and sugar and how to mix and boil them. Feel free to experiment with ingredients, none of this is set in stone. A wide variety of different sugars to open use. Here are some common
corn syrup fructose

Nutrasweet ( if your concern about the intake of calories)
* molasses, maltose, brown sugar or honey!
Tap water is good to use, while it is usually considered a good drinking water.
3) Now is the time of carbonate of soda. There are two ways to do so, the most common method is fermentation. The other is forced carbonation. This article will focus on the easier of the two, which is fermentation.
While the fermentation process is the same process happens in a lot of beer or wine, such a small amount of alcohol is to make a lot of soda is completely undetectable. You must drink gallons to get even a buzz!
Before you begin, make sure to disinfect all ingredients with a diluted bleach solution and rinse well.
Pour the solution of sugar-flavored water in a sanitized bucket with a lid.
When the solution reaches a temperature of about 75-80 ˚ F is the time to sprinkle a packet of brewer’s yeast (this is available at any home store of beer and even some large supermarkets). Just make sure to get the beer yeast. Now wait 12 hours. Do not worry, all the foam that appears on the top of the soda is completely normal.
4) Now it’s time to bottle. This requires the following: *
5-6 feet of plastic tubing for use as a siphon
* Enough bottles and caps the amount of soda to make your
- You can get both at home supply stores such
beer
* (optional but highly recommended) for bottling siphon tip. Ask the store of beer home, and you’ll connect with what you need.
Before the transfer in their bottles of soda, do not forget to clean your siphon and bottles / caps. Now all that remains is the transfer of each soda bottle, cap, and store their finished products in the fridge.
That’s it. That’s it! Consider giving your soda another twelve hours in the refrigerator to finish fermenting / carbonating before drinking.
