A History of All Beer

The exact time frame of beer is debatable. Contacts between 7,500 to 10,000 years years ago. That makes beer the oldest drink known to mankind. The inventors or discovers of beer, are however not discussed. Almost everyone agrees that the Sumerians were the first beer. (God bless his soul!)

Ingredients: grains of barley, malt, hops, yeast and water. Each alter significantly the final taste of beer.

beers beer comes in a number of varieties and variations. However, beer can be classified under Lager or Ale.

Lager: Where the beer is produced by fermentation of substance, there is a beer. In this process the yeast sinks to the bottom of the tank during fermentation. A pale golden liquid is produced.

Ales: Where the beer is produced by the fermentation process is larger, producing beers. In this process the yeast is skimmed the top during fermentation. Ales are generally darker and stronger in flavor.

A more complete categorization is as follows:

Ale: Contains high content of hops and malt. Dark, almost black in color, define this beer.

Bock: It has its origin in German sources. It is heavier then malti traditional beers.

Ice Beer: It’s half of lager with a higher alcohol content, due to the removal of ice crystals.

Lager: It means “store” in German. It has a soft and refined taste.

Lambic: A type of wheat beer that the fruit / sugar is added during fermentation. It originated in Belgium

Light Beer: It is characterized by a pale, watery eyes. Is low in calories and alcohol content.

Pilsners: It gets its name from a town called Pilsen in the Czech Republic, where it was invented. Is known to have a malt character and dry floral final. Pilsners are the most popular beers in the world. Golden lagers also fall into this category.

Porter: This is a very dark beer. Contains high content of hops and malt.

Sake: Sake is a Japanese rice beer. There are many types of sake and you can take a variety of ways. This is because allowing it to compete with the wine, as a cult.

Stout: This is one of the few beers that are sometimes served hot. However, he enjoys being like any other beer CHILLED! It originated in London and the likes of coal and molasses with a bitter sweet end.

Wheat Beer: This beer is made with malted wheat. It has hints of fruit flavors like banana, apple or orange. It is usually deep copper color.

White Beer: A wheat beer with Lambic advice. Like Lambic beer comes from Belgium and has a fruity flavor.

A special note on the draft (or draft): The project is a beer that was spilled from a barrel. Any beer can be poured into a project. Usually strong and lager beer “as a project.
