Wondering if this might be a loop-hole. My local grocery store has one of those self-serve lanes, and I’m wondering whether the computer has any special lock against being able to purchase cartons of beer, malt beverages, etc. I’m not concerned about a physical human being hovering over me, because it’s pretty lax. All I want to know is if I can purchase the alcohol from the automated checkout lane.
